Car collision results in serious injuries for Illinois woman

When it comes to accidents taking place on the roadway, there is always the potential for the situation to escalate into a serious event. Many drivers hope to avoid being in a car collision altogether, but unfortunately, not all accidents can be avoided. In some instances, multiple vehicles can become involved and serious injuries could occur. Furthermore, injured parties may also want to consider legal action.
A recent accident in Illinois led to an individual suffering serious injuries. It was reported that the woman’s vehicle was hit by another vehicle, which caused her vehicle to overturn. While rolling, the woman’s vehicle was then hit by a semi-truck. Specific details were not available as to what may have led to the initial collision taking place.
It was reported that the woman was airlifted from the scene to an area hospital. Her specific condition was not known at the time of the report. There was also no word on whether any charges would be filed in relation to the event. An investigation into the crash is continuing, and more information may be available once that investigation is completed.
Because the woman was seriously injured in the car collision, she could now have the task of overcoming numerous setbacks.
