ofAn Illinois car crash sent five people to the hospital on March 23 in Douglas County shortly after 4 p.m. The injured people ranged in age from 7 months old to 60. Everyone hurt was transported to the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana after the car crash occurred.

Train accident case remanded for new trial

Champaign car crash sends several to hospital

ofAn Illinois man has been ticketed by police for running a red light after causing a multiple vehicle car crash which ended with his 5-year-old daughter seriously injured and a 2-year-old girl apparently escaping physical injury. ofLast Sept. 5 an argument broke out between two Urbana Illinois men who were roommates. One told the other that he was too drunk to drive. He also threatened to run over the man. It now appears that is exactly what happened with the victim’s own van, as the man pleaded guilty on Feb. 17 to aggravated driving under the influence. Rental company now supports federal car recall legislation

ofEnterprise Rent-A-Car, the largest car rental company in the United States, has recently changed its stance on a federal bill that would prohibit rental companies from renting out cars that were recalled for safety reasons. While the rental giant had previously declared the bill to be unnecessary, it seems the efforts of a mother whose daughters died in a car accident while in an Enterprise rental may have changed their minds.
