Illinois car accident leaves multiple fatalities

Fatal accidents typically result in a series of emotional and financial challenges for surviving loved ones. These accidents may arise from a variety of incidents, and car crashes are unfortunately common causes. A recent car accident in Illinois had tragic results, and a family may be looking for information on possible legal options.
It was reported that the wreck involved only one vehicle and that there were two adults and one child in the car at the time. The driver was unable to keep the vehicle on the roadway while traveling north, and it crashed into a ditch. It apparently continued traveling after overturning and slid across two southbound lanes. It then struck a fence and tree.
The driver of the vehicle was reported as being 26 years old. He was transported from the scene to a medical center, but he was later declared dead. A 22-year-old female passenger and the infant child both died at the scene. Authorities are continuing to investigate, and additional information may be disclosed at a later time.
The loss of a child or any family member can be devastating for those who must live without them.
